ABOUT PHUMELO LODGE

Phumelo  Lodge is an authentic African Lodge that offers exclusive but affordable luxury accommodation. The lodge sleeps 10 adults is 5 private and exclusive rooms. Our 4 King Suite rooms area African themed chalets offering breathtaking views over the mountain and a river running infront of the lodge. Our Superior Executive room is the most luxurious room we have to offer and walks out to the deck area with a jacuzzi and swimming pool.  All rooms are air-conditioned / heated and offer en-suite bathrooms. The rooms have private decks where you can view the game at the river below or on the mountain across from the lodge. Guests also have the luxury of a indoor bath with spectacular views, as well as indoor / outdoor showers for that exhilarating ‘Out of Africa’ experience. In each room, there is an all day refreshment station which offers tea & coffee, hot chocolate, complementary rusks for the convenience of our guests. Each room is also equipped with DSTV satellite TV.

 

The thatched central main lodge complex has a romantically appointed dining area; an intimate lounge with feature fireplace; a cocktail bar with viewing deck overlooking the floodlit waterhole; a cozy open-air bush boma; swimming pool with large sundeck, and an indoor / outdoor lounging area. The elevated ‘upper deck’ offers stunning views across the plains and the river. The quiet solitude of this private location makes it the perfect place to witness sensational sunsets, whilst savouring the moment with a sundowner cocktail.
